Behind on your mortgage payments?

Brevard County is full of short sales! If you are a own a home and you are behind on your payments with no apparent way to catch up and you have tried the modification process then you are a prime candidate for a SHORT SALE.  You do need to owe more on your home than what it is worth but that is the case with alot of homeowners right now so you are not alone.  The first thing you need to overcome is stress.  Trust me.....I have been there and it is not worth the countless hours of worry and stress you will give it if you are not careful.  A short sale is a fairly easy process to qualify for and you really only need a few important documents to get the process started.  The first and most important thing you do is hire a qualified, short sale expert who is typically a Realtor that can hold your hand throughout the process.  It is vital that you hire someone who knows what they are doing as there are many many facets involved.  GRAND STAR REALTY, LLC aka Leann Schneider is here to assist you.  I have done numerous short sales and know that 99.9% of banks out there are granting them.  Sometimes the process is easier than others but in the end they almost always close with all parties fairly unscathed.  The short sale process can be very tricky and I assure you that I know the ins and outs that are to be expected.  Give me a call or send me an email and we can get your questions answered and your fears and stress soothed.  I've personally done a short sale and professionally done countless more.  Please let me know you that I am qualified for the job.

Tips to surviving disaster!

We still have another couple of months of hurricane season so here is some advise from a longtime Satellite Beach, Florida resident. DO NOT PUT OFF BUYING A HOME DURING HURRICANE SEASON due to the following:

1) Most of the time they don't hit us anyway

2) Even if they do hit us they've not been catastrophic ever in this area so take the time to enjoy the "time off" with friends, family and neighbors sharing food, electricity, water and lots of "believe it or not" good times.

3) Interest rates are so low right now and the banks will not let the threat of a hurricane stop the sale.

4) Hurricane parties are a blast....have the party and then resume your real estate business as soon as it's back to business.

and just for fun Guess what the next storm will be named....they go in alphebetical order.
